The Florida Organization Inc. has been established for the clean up of the Florida coast. DUE TO THE BP OFF SHORE OIL DISASTER. WE WORK TO PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT, INDIGENOUS WILDLIFE AND OUR WAY OF LIFE.
Members of the Board of the Directors include Denise Kleiner, Barry Newman, Charlie Souza and Charlie Ball.
Each one brings special talents to this organization.
Denise Kleiner is the founder of this grass roots organization. Her day job she works as an investment adviser and planner for Ameriprise Financial. Her vision is to bring together the talent, passion and experience of the team to work more efficiently with solutions for the Gulf clean up. She is the glue that bonds.
Barry Newman brings the soul to our endeavor. He is a concert producer and he ideas just flow from him. Many of us know him from his song titled “Sixteen Candles” that he performed with the Crests. Because of his background as a recording artist, he will produce the fund raising concerts. He brings many contacts and much experience to our team.
Charlie Souza resides in St. Petersburg and is a Florida Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, who presently performs with the New Rascals. He is producing a song that sings the message about the way he feels regarding cleaning up the Gulf. Souza is the heart of our group and his love for pelicans inspired him to get involved.
Charles Ball is the legal brain and will set our course. He helps us navigate the appropriate channels. He has a special connection to the sea and has traveled many miles of the Gulf, Caribbean and Atlantic Basin in a boat that he engineered and built with his own two hands. He is a native Floridian and his giving back in this way is fate.
